BFK Adventure Program
Ages 6-12*
“Each time one prematurely teaches a child something he could have discovered himself, that child is kept from inventing it and consequently from understanding it completely.”  ― Jean Piaget

This special traveling kids club, developed for students 6-12, will meet some of Long Islands finest nature and marine specialists. In passenger vehicles fully equipped including WIFI, GPS location and on board cameras, we'll go old school with field trips exploring local waterways, swimming with the fishes, playing and studying our abundant wildlife. They get to travel while still getting access to all the awesome fun the main site site gets to offer..its the best of both worlds! (and having a go at that Ice Cream Slip n' Slide too)

How does it work? Every morning we have a brief morning lesson to discuss the weeks curriculum. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday we hit the road to work with local educators and groups. Tuesdays and Thursdays are spent on site, where the kids get to mess about and get the lead out, chill in the art tent, science experiments, try some cool crafts.

What are Fun Fridays?

We have developed a great well rounded program, and part of that is teaching kids how to be a knowledgeable "Long Island waterman".

Fridays are focused on learning valuable skills while also having fun. Do you know how to properly get in and out of the ocean, do you know how to spot a rip tide, or what to do when you get in one?

We not only teach these awesome skills, but also learn watersports like surfing, paddle boarding and more! Its like 3 camp rolled into one!
